Bad Beat Jackpot Qualifications Must Be Met as Follows
“Bad Beat” is a qualifying high-ranking poker hand that is beaten by a higher-ranking hand.
A minimum of four players must be dealt in at the start of the hand to qualify.
The Pot must be a minimum of $20.
Both hole cards must play from both the winning and the losing hands. Players *must* use their best possible hand; if this best possible hand utilizes only a single hole card (or plays the board), the hand does *not* qualify. (Board is 4c 5c 6c 7c !d. Player A has 2c 3c, Player B has 8c 9c, this does not qualify because player A only uses the 3c to make the best hand possible)
Quads must be made with a pocket pair. (AK hole cards with KKK on the board does *not* qualify.)
Hole cards must beat the board. If there is a tie, the player is considered to play the board, and therefore their hand does *not* qualify for the bad beat.
In the event that there is more than one qualifying Bad Beat hand, only the second-best hand (the top-qualifying Bad Beat hand) will be paid.
The hand must go to showdown in order to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot, and eligible hands must be turned face-up on the table.
In the event of the cards being run twice, only the first board is eligible.
Winners must have a valid photo ID to claim the prize and are responsible for all taxes.
