WIP Compliance Policy
Champions Group LLC – Windows Information Protection (WIP) Compliance Policy
Purpose
This policy ensures all devices accessing Champions Group LLC’s resources comply with Windows Information Protection (WIP) security requirements to protect corporate data.
Compliance Requirements
1. Device Configuration:
• Devices must be enrolled in Champions Group LLC’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform.
• Devices must meet minimum hardware and software requirements for WIP enforcement.
2. Application Use:
• Only approved applications are allowed to access corporate data (refer to the Device Compliance Policy).
• Use of unapproved applications or attempts to bypass WIP protections is prohibited.
3. Data Encryption:
• Corporate data on WIP-configured devices will be encrypted automatically.
• Attempts to move corporate data to unapproved storage or share via unapproved apps will be blocked.
4. Policy Enforcement:
• Devices not compliant with WIP policies (e.g., outdated software, non-encryption, unapproved apps) will lose access to corporate resources until compliance is restored.
5. Employee Responsibilities:
• Ensure your device remains compliant with WIP policies.
• Report lost or compromised devices immediately to [compliance@championsgroup.com].
6. Corporate Data Deletion:
• Corporate data may be remotely deleted in the following situations:
• Device loss or theft.
• Employment termination.
• Security breach or non-compliance.
Non-Compliance Actions
Failure to comply with WIP requirements may result in:
1. Restricted or revoked access to corporate resources.
2. Notifications to the employee and their manager.
3. Disciplinary actions as per company policy.
